Today I just want to entertain you with another swashbuckling game from none other than Michail Tal himself. The Smith Morra gambit does not get much respect because it is rarely seen at the top level nowadays. But when someone like Tal plays it, you are in for a treat in combinational chess. I am looking at this opening as a candidate repetoire in blitz chess. Its theory is not expansive and one can easily remember the main lines without having to think too hard, which makes it perfect for short time controls like blitz. Enjoy.
